From Runways to Rooms: Armani Casa’s Furniture Journey

Giorgio Armani, the man behind the eponymous brand, was born in Piacenza, Italy, in 1934. By the mid-1970s, Armani decided to start his own label. His first collection was an immediate success, and his clean, tailored lines redefined the idea of luxury fashion.

Throughout the ’80s and ’90s, the Armani brand expanded its product range to include womenswear, fragrances, eyewear, watches, and even cosmetics. Giorgio Armani became synonymous with minimalist, elegant fashion.

Armani Casa is the home and lifestyle line from the Armani brand, showcasing the designer’s aesthetic in interiors and home decor. It was established in 2000, solidifying Armani’s vision for an integrated aesthetic experience. Its designs mirror the fashion line’s ethos: sophisticated, luxurious, and understated.

LOGO Table Lamp

LOGO Table Lamp

This table lamp was the very first product ever designed for the brand, back in 1982, by Giorgio Armani himself: for this reason, it became the logo of the brand. The satinated black metal structure features a double lampshade in the shape of a truncated pyramid, made in ivory methacrylate.

From furniture to home accessories, lighting, textiles, and even architectural projects, it offers an immersive luxury experience. The brand’s signature subdued color palette and sleek lines can be seen across its range, making every piece unmistakably Armani. Armani Casa also reflects Giorgio Armani’s personal love for interiors, which he once considered as an alternate career to fashion.
